Joel Rennie

Joel is a Programme Executive at BBI, supporting work on the West Yorkshire Playbook, where BBI is embedded in the current ICB People Planning board with the aim of transforming health inequalities across the West Yorkshire ICB footprint by using the power of the NHS as a lead anchor in removing barriers to sustainable and inclusive employment.

He also works on the on the operationalisation of Pharmacogenomics at community pharmacy level in the Kent and Medway ICS, as well as designing and coordinating a Dermatology Pathfinder with the aim of transitioning the service pathways for dermatological care from General Practise to Community Pharmacy.

His main responsibilities encompass data collection and analysis, conducting qualitative research through stakeholder and service user interviews, and the design and development of career and service pathways, as well as service evaluation.

After completing university in 2020, Joel began his professional journey at Leeds-based homelessness VCSE, working on a community research program to optimise support for their service users. Subsequently, he joined a large National Research body participating in national research and polling programs, interviewing people up and down the country. Outside of his professional pursuits, Joel enjoys music and video production.
