RESEARCHER
Rahim Daya
Rahim has worked on a number of health and social care projects since joining BBI, including with NHS West Lancashire CCG on the relationship between poor quality housing and population health outcomes. This work culminated in the publishing of BBI’s HOMES report which laid out our playbook methodology to provide a comprehensive approach to the place-based delivery of services that address the social determinants of health and wellbeing.
Rahim oversaw the first three playbook programmes in Cornwall (building an integrated health and housing response to an ageing population), Portsmouth (focusing on a family-first approach to tackling social isolation), and Somerset (helping to manage an ageing population through the lens of younger generations).
Rahim has a BA in Political Economy from the University of California Berkeley and is currently working towards an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and LSE.
